CNBC executive moves over to studio

Universal Studios has tapped CNBC chief financial officer Christy Rupert Shibata as its new CFO.

She also reports to NBC U exec VP and CFO Lynn Calpeter.

Shibata joined NBC U in 2005, assuming the CFO role for CNBC and CNBC Intl. Previously, she served finance stints for GE Healthcare and GE Industrial and Financial Services businesses in Asia.
