Baby Phat CEO to star in reality show

Ted Harbert continues to put his stamp on Style, greenlighting the cabler’s first comedy-based reality skein.

Dubbed “Kimora” (working title), the series — set to bow this summer — will revolve around fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons, CEO of Baby Phat. It will chronicle her various adventures as “a mogul, a mother, a designer and a diva,” net said.

Style exec VP Salaam Coleman Smith called Simmons “a fascinating woman” who is “refreshingly blunt, absolutely honest and outrageously entertaining.

“Nothing she does is small, nothing she says is insignificant and nothing she wants is unavailable,” Smith added.

Steve Cantor of Stick Figure Prods. will exec produce, along with E! Networks’ Carmen Micho. Skein was developed by Elaine Brooks.
