This one-time line producer, who served a term as British film commissioner, is now managing director of film at Framestore-CFC, Europe’s largest visual f/x and computer animation company. Since he joined a year ago, Framestore has been kept busy with “The Golden Compass,” “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” and “The Dark Knight.” Company is best known for its exceptionally realistic creature work. It is also under way with its first in-house animated production, “A Tale of Despereaux,” for Universal.
