Sony, Viasat click

Sony Pictures Television Intl. has struck a new multiyear licensing deal with Scandinavian broadcaster Viasat Broadcasting.

Deal will see a raft of blockbuster feature films airing on six Viasat channels in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, including “The Da Vinci Code,” “The Pursuit of Happyness,” “Spider-Man 2” and “Talladega Nights.”

Also included in the deal are a number of firstrun television series, as well as Sony Television favorites such as “Seinfeld,” “Married With Children” and “The Nanny,” plus the renewal of popular soap “Days of Our Lives.”
