Former NBC and BWR publicity exec Carrie Simons is hanging out her shingle, opening the Nashville-based Triple 7 PR.
Praisery’s clients will include Reveille reality skeins “Nashville Star” and “The Biggest Loser,” producer-helmer Peter Horton and thesp Alison Sweeney (“Days of Our Lives”). Triple 7 will be part of 821 Entertainment Group, the entertainment and tech holding company operated by Eric Geadelmann and Anastasia Brown.
In addition to her own clients, Simons also will handle corporate PR for 821 as VP of communications for the company, which has offices in both Nashville and L.A. Triple 7 will rep film, TV and music talent.
Simons has spent the last 18 months as senior director of corporate entertainment at BWR, working with clients such as WWE, BET, Regency TV and Mindless Entertainment/51 Pictures. She previously had been at NBC for seven years, spending a big chunk of her tenure handling PR for “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” and music specials toplined by artists such as the Eagles, Elton John and Faith Hill.
