Walter Hamada was a partner at H2F

New Line has hired manager-producer Walter Hamada as a senior VP of production.

Hamada, who spent the last four years partnered with Chris Fenton at H2F Entertainment, will be based in New Line’s Los Angeles headquarters and will report to production topper Toby Emmerich.

While at H2F, Hamada worked with writers such as Chris Morgan, Rob McKittrick, Greg Coolidge, Brad Gann and the team of Matt Allen and Caleb Wilson. As a producer, he set up “Mancrush,” “Cat Fight,” “Coxblocker,” “Tough Love” and “Whisper.”

Hamada began his career as an assistant at TriStar and eventually became VP of production for Columbia Pictures. Prior to H2F, he also ran development for MBST Entertainment.

H2F will continue to operate as a management/production banner.
