After two weeks of ratings in low places, Fox’s “Nashville” fell to pieces.
The reality sudser, which showcased aspiring country singers as they navigated life in Music City, has been pulled from the schedule — but will return sometime in October, the net said.
For the next two weeks, Fox will replace one “ville” with another, as second runs of “K-Ville” slide into the Friday at 9 p.m. slot. Then, starting Oct. 19, “The Next Great American Band” will bow with several two-hour segs.
“Nashville” has averaged just 2.4 million viewers in its two appearances; the show bowed to a 1.0 rating/3 share in the adults 18-49 demo, dipping to a 0.9/3 in week two.
Go Go Luckey Prods. (“Laguna Beach”) is behind “Nashville.”
