Actor Luciano Giancarlo died July 16 of pneumonia in Los Angeles after a long battle with cancer. He was 35.
Born Luciano Guizzardi in Bologna, Italy, he learned English and dreamed of moving to Hollywood.
After coming to California, he studied acting at the Stella Adler Academy and netted roles on shows including “Will & Grace,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Arrested Development” and “Out of Practice.” He also appeared in numerous ad spots.
He is survived by his father and a brother.
