Exec to deal with reality series, pilots

Lifetime has bumped up Julie Stern to VP of production, handling the cabler’s reality series and pilots.

Stern will report to Lifetime production senior VP Colleen McCormick.

Stern’s physical oversight includes the production of shows “Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead” and “Gay, Straight or Taken?” as well as the Carson Kressley-hosted pilot “How to Look Good Naked” and J.D. Roberto-fronted pilot “Hello Goodbye.”

Stern joined Lifetime in May. Before that, she worked on several Lifetime shows as a producer, including “Head 2 Toe” and “Who Knows You Best?”

Her credits also include six years as exec in charge of production at Buena Vista TV, where shows she handled included the gamer “Win Ben Stein’s Money.”
