Bacon, Gottberg join hybrid ad agency TDLA
The Designory’s new Los Angeles operation, TDLA, has signed Jeffrey Bacon and Michael Gottberg.
Bacon, who will serve as managing director, has more than 25 years of experience with entertainment, auto and lifestyle brands. He was exec vice president, creative at Trailer Park and was a founding partner in Cimarron/Bacon/O’Brien.
Gottberg, senior strategist, came from DreamWorks where he worked on campaigns for “Shrek,” “Gladiator,” and “Chicken Run.” He has also held positions with Paramount, Disney, Fox and Universal.
The Designory, part of Omnicom Group DAS companies, calls itself a “unique hybrid advertising agency, design shop and interactive firm.” The Long Beach integrated marketing firm hopes that TDLA’s focus on theatrical, home entertainment, videogame and corporate clients will garner new business. The expansion comes after another branch opening in Nashville, Tenn.
