David K. Mannix joins Sony Pictures

Exec named senior VP of worldwide facilities

David K. Mannix has been named senior VP of worldwide facilities and administrative services at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

He will support the operation of SPE facilities in 36 countries and report to Jeff Hargleroad, exec VP of corporate operations. One of his primary objectives is to build a global facilities organization that focuses on improved efficiencies and service levels through a centralized global management structure. He will oversee space planning, architectural services, lease management, workplace services and building engineering, maintenance and design.

Mannix joins SPE from Activision, where he served as head of real estate operations and facilities, overseeing 27 facilities in 17 countries. He also served as head of facilities, operations and administration at DreamWorks and held several posts at Paramount Pictures, including exec VP-general manager for the studio’s Great America Theme Park and senior VP for studio operations.
