Maggie Rodriguez moving to weekdays
CBS News is promoting Maggie Rodriguez from the Saturday “Early Show” minor league to the weekday ayem big league, filling the co-anchor slot on the show that Hannah Storm will soon vacate.Rodriguez has served as co-anchor of the Saturday “Early Show” for the past six months, and she’s also contributed a series of reports to the mothership “Early Show” and to the “CBS Evening News With Katie Couric.” Before joining the Eye, Rodriguez served as the 5 and 11 p.m. news anchor for CBS-owned WFOR-TV Miami.
