'Rachael' to continue through 2010

CBS Domestic Distribution said Tuesday from its booth on the convention floor that it has cleared its freshman gabber “Rachael Ray” for two additional years, taking the strip out through the 2010 season.

That essentially locks up yet another crucially scarce time period on major Big Three O&Os and affiliates.

“Ray” averaged a mere 2.1 household rating, indicating just how low the bar for success in syndication has now dropped.
