Summit Entertainment has appointed Andi Isaacs as senior VP of production, with overight of physical production of all in-house films for the newly minted studio.
He’ll report to Bob Hayward, chief operating officer, who made the announcement Thursday.
Isaacs recently served as a production executive for Walt Disney Pictures from 2004-2006. Prior to her role at Disney, she worked as freelancer in all areas of production both domestically and internationally including production supervisor, accountant, and studio representative for indies and major studios.
Summit currently has two movies in production — “Get Some” and “Step Up 2 the Streets” — and has “Push” in pre-production in Hong Kong. It plans to release 10 to 12 films annually.
