42West taps Ciccone

Executive to run West Coast marketing unit

PR house 42West has tapped Susan Ciccone to run its West Coast film marketing division.

Ciccone will assume the position after ankling her current post as VP of publicity at Paramount, where she’s worked for nearly eight years.

“I have always thought of 42West as setting the gold standard for PR firms,” Ciccone said. “It’s amazing how much they have been able to do in such a short span of time, and I look forward to joining the team.”

Ciccone’s career began at Rogers and Cowan where she first met 42West partner Leslee Dart. Following that stint, Ciccone spent a decade working on both coasts for Fox, managing campaigns for the Coen brothers’ “Barton Fink” and “Miller’s Crossing” and summer blockbusters such as “Independence Day” and “Speed.”

Ciccone will oversee publicity for Par’s upcoming release “Blades of Glory” before moving to 42West’s Century City offices in mid-April.
