Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution has named Andy Lewis exec VP-general administrative manager.
Lewis joins the distrib unit from another Time Warner division, Warner Bros. Animation, where he was exec VP-general manager.
In his new job, Lewis takes responsibility for all business operations, including finance, administration, planning and analysis. Lewis will report to Ken Werner, president of WBDTD, who called him “a creative and resourceful strategist.”
Lewis served for seven years at Warner Bros. Animation. Before that, he worked for eight years at Buena Vista TV, Walt Disney’s syndication arm, where he rose to VP of finance, planning and distribution, overseeing TV syndication, sales of programming to basic cable and pay TV and firstrun production.
Earlier jobs included exec stints at Columbia Pictures TV and Viacom Enterprises.
