Hire will serve as TV studio's No. 2 PR exec
Tammy Golihew has been tapped for a newly created post as VP of publicity for Warner Bros. worldwide TV marketing.
Golihew will serve as the TV studio’s No. 2 PR exec under recently upped senior VP Sharan Magnuson.
New gig will have Golihew working with and reporting to Magnuson to offer business communications counsel to the WBTV Group’s various divisions, including primetime, online, cable and syndie. She’ll also head up publicity strategy for the conglom’s syndie, cable and international distribution arms and serve as a liaison between WBTV Group and Warners’ digital distribution unit.
Golihew has been working as a consultant at WBTV for several months, having come to the studio from BNC Public Relations, where she was veepee of entertainment. In that post, she helped oversee consumer campaigns for “House” and “Scrubs” and worked with clients such as scribe Bobby Moresco.
Magnuson called Golihew “a bright, energetic and strategic communications executive with an invaluably diverse background.”
In addition to two stints at BNC, Golihew has held gigs at Sony Pictures Television and the company now known as Shepley Winings Diamond.
