Members of the union repping Hollywood script supervisors have voted in a new president in a federally supervised re-run of last December’s election.
Dooner — the current local secretary who goes by the single name — defeated Michele Tedlis in voting Saturday for Local 871 of the Intl. Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. Tedlis had defeated J Graigory in the December election.
The executive board of the local agreed in June to the supervised revote after a Dept. of Labor investigation found four violations in how last year’s vote was conducted. The local would have faced a lawsuit by the federal government had it not agreed to hold the supervised election.
Members of the local elected Cassandra Barrere over Allison Curren for VP, the same result as in the December election. Board members elected included Aaron Albucher, Lark Berini, Elizabeth Chambers, Susan Dukow, Jodi Ehrlich, Andrea Friedland, J Graigory, Lisa Lee, Karen Shaw and Michele Tedlis.
Delegates elected included Aaron Albucher, Cassandra Barrere, Allison Curren, Jodi Ehrlich, Andrea Friedland, J Graigory, Margery Kimbrough, Lisa Lee, Tracy Moody, Heidi Nakamura, Nicole Runkle, Michele Tedlis, Judi Townsend, Cathy Valsuk and Kathleen Walker.
