Mellett gets VOD bump at Warner Bros.

VP of video on demand now senior VP

Andy Mellett has been upped to senior VP of video on demand for Warner Bros. Digital Distribution

With the promotion, exec will gain additional responsibility for U.S. and Canadian VOD and pay-per-view transactions and serve as a strategic consultant for worldwide VOD.

Mellett will continue to work closely with Kevin Tsujihara, prexy of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, to maximize the division’s revenue growth, while acquiring digital rights for non-Warner Bros. content.

Mellett most recently served as VP of VOD. He joined the studio as VP of VOD sales in 2000.

Previously, he was VP of national accounts in what was then the Disney/ABC cable networks group.
