ICM senior VP Shane to exit

Exec leaves for post at Weber Shandwick

David Shane will leave his post as ICM spokesman to become senior veep in the corporate practice of PR firm Weber Shandwick. Shane will start his new job in December and ICM is searching for his replacement.

Shane was ICM’s senior veep of corporate communications for nearly three years and the press mouthpiece during the agency’s financial restructuring, acquisition of BWCS, and contentious parting of the ways with co-presidents Nancy Josephson and Ed Limato.

“As Weber Shandwick handles more corporate matters for studios and the entertainment industry as a whole, we’re delighted to add David to our team,” said exec veep and general manager Rod Clayton.

Shane previously worked for TiVo and Comcast.
