At Saturday’s “Enchanted” premiere, helmer Kevin Lima discussed the challenges of separating the worlds of fantasy and reality.
“If you take Amy (Adams) and Patrick (Dempsey) in a scene together, you have someone who is acting like a cartoon character and someone who is real and you’re trying to keep them both in their space,” explained Lima. “You don’t want them to cross and become each other.”
The preem drew grown-up guests such as Helen Mirren and Taylor Hackford, to the El Capitan Theater proving the timeless appeal of a good old-fashioned fairytale.
At the after-party, Disney kept the tots busy with an “Enchanted” theme park, giving parents like Teri Hatcher and Chandra Wilson a chance to mingle while their kids were thoroughly entertained.
