E! keeps up with the Kardashians

Network renews reality series

E! has greenlit a second season of unscripted laffer “Keeping up With the Kardashians.”

Pickup comes one month after the debut of the Ryan Seacrest/Bunim-Murray Prods. skein finished first among basic cable shows in its timeslot among women 18-34. It’s continued to post impressive ratings.

Lisa Berger, exec VP of original programming and series development for E!, said there’s been strong buzz surrounding the show.

Seacrest and Eliot Goldberg created “Keeping up With the Kardashians,” which follows the antics of media personality Kim Kardashian and her family. Jon Murray and Jeff Jenkins are exex producers of the series, along with Seacrest and Goldberg.
