Jeff Sellinger has been upped to senior VP of CBS Mobile.
Sellinger, who’s been VP of the unit since November 2006, will now have oversight of operations for the Eye’s mobile business. That includes the launch of the CBS Mobile Television Network, other mobile video services and mobile advertising.
While Sellinger has focused on mobile content since arriving at the Eye in 2005, he also created and developed the business model for CBS Records. He helped get the label off the ground, playing a hand in recruiting artists such as Senor Happy.
Sellinger reports to Cyriac Roeding, exec VP of CBS Mobile and CBS Interactive. He previously helped launch GoldPocket Wireless.
