CBS Paramount TV ups Redman

Director promoted to VP of drama development

CBS Paramount Network Television has upped Leigh Redman to VP of drama development.

Redman, most recently director of drama development, has had a hand in developing skeins such as “Cane,” “Jericho,” “Threshold” and “Swingtown.” She reports to Julie McNamara, senior VP of drama development for the studio.

McNamara cited Redman’s creative instincts and enthusiasm in announcing the promotion.

Redman has been at CBS since 2001. She began her career as an assistant at tenpercentery APA.

Other skeins Redman has worked on include “Judging Amy,” “Cold Case” and “Joan of Arcadia.”
