No. of subscribers: 76 millionNetwork topper: Henry Schlieff Programming topper: David Kenin Top originals: The Christmas Card (movie) Upcoming originals: A Stranger’s Heart (telepic), Pandemic (telepic), Marco Polo (telepic) The skinny: Unlike most cable channels, Hallmark is a stand-alone network, owned and operated by Crown Media Holdings; it spun off the smaller Hallmark Movie Channel in 2004. In the exec ranks, Schlieff was appointed president-CEO in October; Brian Stewart was upped to exec VP and CFO in November and in February, Laura Masse was promoted to exec VP of marketing. Net, which targets family audiences with a mix of movies and repeats of series including “Little House on the Prairie” and “Touched by an Angel,” is coming off its most-watched February to date, with 1.1 million viewers in primetime, ranking 15th among all basic cablers. It removed its “for sale” sign last year after nine months on the block and no serious bidders.
