BBCW snaps up South Asia g.m

Pantvaidya to top overseas unit

BBC Worldwide’s Global Channels division has hired Nachiket Pantvaidya as general manager, South Asia.

Reporting to Christine Leo-McKerrow, senior VP Global Channels Asia-Pacific, he will head the Global Channels team in the region and manage growth strategy for BBC-branded channels

Nachiket spent three years as executive director, programming and production, for India’s Disney Channels, where he managed the localization of the Disney brand. Before that he worked with Sony Entertainment Television channels in India.
