Brit trip-hop unit U.N.K.L.E.’s latest is a masterful mix of electronic and rock rhythms, one epic tune after another. Heavy with precision, many of these tunes deserve their own singles.Featuring guest vocals from Ian Astbury (The Cult), Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), Autolux and Gavin Clark (Clayhill), first single “Burn My Shadow” is a strong standout; other notable tracks include “Morning Race,” “Restless,” “When Things Explode” and “Keys to the Kingdom.” Unlike many of their peers, U.N.K.L.E. is able to add another strong entry into a catalog of memorable albums and display signs of growth while remaining faithful to their original sound.
