Singer/songwriter Jewel will soon help Las Vegas turn a new leaf.
The artist will perform June 9 at the grand opening of the $250 million Las Vegas Springs Preserve, an environmentally friendly venue located minutes from the Strip. Acoustic takes place at the site’s 1,800-seat outdoor amphitheater.
Jewel, one of the founders of Project Clean Water, is a perfect fit to kick off the 180-acre Preserve, which aims to set new standards in “green building.” Visitors will be educated on conservation via green museums, galleries, botanical gardens and trails.
Beginning this fall, a full slate of concerts and theater performances will jump-start the Preserve amphitheater.
Tickets for the Jewel show are general admission and go on sale today for $45.
