Singer's Vegas show to be filmed for TV special, DVD

Celine Dion’s Las Vegas show “A New Day” will close Dec. 15 after nearly four years at Caesars Palace.

The final year of the show will include new costumes and new numbers. In late January, “A New Day” will be filmed for a TV special and DVD.

The final block of tickets for performances from August through December will go on sale on March 1. Dion was the sixth highest grossing act in North America last year, pulling in $78.1 million. She did 147 shows at the Colosseum.

Caesars has not yet announced Dion’s replacement.
