Tel Aviv-based Dori Media Group has signed presale deals with nets in Latin America for “Lalola,” a telenovela it is co-producing in Argentina.
Chile’s Canal 13, Ecuador’s Ecuavisa and Mexico’s Multivision, among others, picked up the 150-hour comedy, said Silvana D’Angelo, director of international sales and marketing at DMG’s distribution unit in Buenos Aires.
“Lalola” tells the story of a womanizer who must face men’s advances after a conquest turns him into a woman.
Argentina’s Underground Contenidos created and is co-producing the novela, which will bow later this year on Argentina’s No. 4 broadcaster America TV.
