Seems like Brits can never forget Take That.
The early-’90s boy band — whose U.K. hits included “Never Forget,” “Pray” and “Relight My Fire” — receives the jukebox musical treatment with “Never Forget,” opening at the West End’s Savoy Theater in May after a successful tour of Blighty this summer.
Story, about a wannabe singer-songwriter trying to make it big in Manchester, is written by TV scribe Danny Brocklehurst (“Sorted”), Guy Jones and Ed Curtis.
Helmed by Curtis, the production touts tech advances, including a moving curtain of rain and a 10-foot wall of fire.
Performances kick off May 7 for a May 21 opening.
