‘Seeking Susan’ will close Dec. 15

'Shadowlands' will replace musical adaptation

Looks like auds never sought out “Desperately Seeking Susan.” The West End tuner, which opened at the Novello Theater Nov. 15, will close Dec. 15.

A revival of the William Nicholson play “Shadowlands,” fresh off an 11-week run at the Wyndham, will transfer to the Novello to make way for a return stint of “The History Boys” at the Wyndham.

“Susan” combined the story of Susan Seidelman’s 1985 pic with tunes by the band Blondie, and received largely scathing reviews in the UK press. London papers report the show has lost at least $7 million.

“Shadowlands” kicks off its nine-week engagement at the Novello Dec. 21.
