Roundabout picks Miller for post

Hire part of arts outreach program

Roundabout Theater Company has named David A. Miller as its new director of education, overseeing arts outreach work in New York’s public schools.

Miller replaces Margie Salvante, who created the full-time position, building up Roundabout’s arts education program over the past 10 years to reach 5,000 students and 200 teachers annually in the tri-state area. Miller joined the company last year as education program manager.

Roundabout’s education activities include classroom and school-wide partnerships, theater access, professional development workshops and career develop-ment.
