MONTREAL — Damon Wayans, Lewis Black, Bob Odenkirk and David Cross have been added to the lineup of this summer’s Just for Laughs comedy festival, which runs in Montreal July 8-29.
Wayans will appear in the “Best of the Uptown Comics” shows at 8 and 11 p.m. July 21 at the Spectrum. Other acts skedded include Rickey Smiley, Bill Burr and Kevin Hart.
“The Daily Show” alum Black has been tapped to host “The Masters” shows on July 20 and 21 at the Kola Note nightclub. The full lineup for “The Masters” has yet to be announced.
Odenkirk and Cross, from HBO sketch-comedy series “Mr. Show!,” will host two nights of a new sketch comedy showcase, “The Line-Up.”
Show will be directed by Odenkirk and feature perfs by sketch troupes from around the world. The two “Line-Up” shows will be held at the Kola Note July 18 and 19.
Just for Laughs has added a second show of Billy Connolly’s “Too Old to Die Young” on July 22 at Place des Arts. The first show is July 21.
Also announced Wednesday was a solo standup performance July 19 by Louis CK, a writer with “The Chris Rock Show.”
Odenkirk and Cross will join authors Eric Hoffman and Gary Rudoren for a reading and book signing of “Comedy by the Numbers,” by Hoffman and Rudoren. Industry-only event takes place July 19 at Montreal’s Hyatt Regency Hotel.
