Graphic designer was struck by car

Ian Corey Bennett, creative director for Situation Marketing, the online marketing firm that specializes in legit productions, died April 15 after being struck by a car while crossing the street in Port Washington, N.Y. He was 26.

At Situation Marketing, Bennett spearheaded the design of websites for Broadway shows as “The Color Purple,” “The Pirate Queen” and “Spring Awakening.”

He attended Syracuse University where he earned a degree in graphic design.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, his father, three sisters and three grandparents.
