Tony Danza has extended his engagement as Max Bialystock in the Vegas version of “The Producers.”
The tuner, which is ongoing at Paris Las Vegas, will shutter early next year on Feb. 9, its one-year anniversary.
Danza, who has appeared in several legit productions, first played Bialystock on Broadway. He joined the Sin City cast in mid-August of this year.
The Mel Brooks musical made its Broadway bow in April 2001 and earned 12 Tony Awards including best musical. For Vegas, “Producers” was trimmed to a running time of 90 minutes with no intermission.
No word was yet disclosed on any possible replacement production for the Paris Theater.
