Clark leads cast in ‘Iphigenia 2.0,’

Actress to play Clytemnestra

Victoria Clark leads the cast of “Iphigenia 2.0,” the Charles Mee play that kicks off the season at Off Broadway’s Signature Theater.

Clark, who won a 2005 Tony for her role in “The Light in the Piazza,” plays Clytemnestra in Mee’s re-imagining of the Euripides play. Louisa Krause portrays the title role.

Helmed by Tina Landau, the production begins previews Aug. 7 for an Aug. 23 opening. Signature’s season-long showcase of Mee’s work continues with “Queen Boulevard” in the winter and “Paradise Park” next spring.
