Road Grosses

NEW YORK — A healthy summer glow returned to the road in Week 7 (July 9-15): The 13-show slate rose 10% to $13,660,308.

“Chicago” and “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” returned to the boards, accounting for part of the increase, but the figures were up across the board, raising the road grosses as high as they’ve been this year.

The Los Angeles production of “Jersey Boys” and the East Lansing, Mich., production of “Wicked” both broke house records this week.

The third company tour of “Wicked,” in L.A., was the highest-grossing show for the week, steadily climbing with $1,623,688.
