Carlson set for ‘Richard II’

Actor to star in title role at Yale Repertory

Jeffrey Carlson, who played the young son in Edward Albee’s “The Goat” and Marilyn in “Taboo” on the Rialto, will have the title role in William Shakespeare’s “Richard II” at Yale Repertory Theater in New Haven. The production, helmed by Evan Yionoulis and running Sept. 21-Oct. 13, also features Alvin Epstein and Billy Eugene Jones.

Carlson recently starred in “Hamlet” at Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D.C.
