Veteran tenpercenter was active in L.A. theater

Actors’ agent Richard Lovell died of heart complications March 8 in Los Angeles. He was 76.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 17 at 3 p.m. at 6675 Whitley Terrace, Hollywood. RSVP to Fran Bascom; ffb@dool.net

Lovell was born in Chicago and came to Los Angeles in 1962. He formed his actors’ agency, Lovell & Associates in 1976.

He was active in Los Angeles theater, where he discovered many of his clients.

Lovell served as president of the Whitley Heights Civic Association, and was active in Hollywood preservation activities, as well as with animal and wildlife protection.

He is survived by three brothers.
