Ka-Ncube set for TV

S. African actor returns to small screen

Popular South African thesp Sello Maake Ka-Ncube, who made a name for himself in London playing Mufasa in West End musical “The Lion King,” returns to the South African smallscreen for the first time in five years on Aug. 2 in paybox E.TV’s daily newsroom drama “Scandal.”

Ka-Ncube previously starred in pubcaster SABC1’s soap “Generations.” He returned home to play Mufasa in the local production of “The Lion King,” which opened in Johannesburg’s Montecasino Theater in June for a four-month run.
