Voltage acquires ‘Sky Kids’

Company gets international rights to family film

Voltage Pictures has acquired the international rights to the family-adventure pic “Sky Kids.” Film stars Jesse James (“Jumper”), Reiley McClendon (“Pearl Harbor”), Stephen Baldwin and Tom Sizemore.

Voltage is handling sales for the film at AFM.

Rocco DeVilliers directed, co-wrote and produced “Sky Kids” through his company, Dark Coast Pictures.

Story revolves around two small-town boys (James and McClendon) who find their courage tested when they accidentally stow away aboard an airplane owned by the mob.

Prior to AFM, Voltage has already concluded sales with EEAP for Eastern Europe and D-Productions for Turkey.

Voltage’s AFM slate also includes the Michelle Pfeiffer/Ashton Kutcher dramatic love story “Personal Effects”; George A. Romero’s untitled sequel to his 2007 horror film “Diary of the Dead”; the Mischa Barton thriller “Homecoming,” and music-romancer “Love n’ Dancing”, starring Amy Smart.
