LONDON — Universal Pictures Intl. Entertainment, U’s foreign homevid division, has promoted Melanie Nicholas to senior VP, marketing.
This follows the decision by Wayne Borg, exec VP commercial, to relocate back to Australia, and to relinquish his role leading the marketing, sales and digital strategy. Borg will remain with the company until the end of the year.
Nicholas was previously VP, licensees and emerging markets. She set up Universal Pictures Russia and forged a reciprocal distribution agreement with Warner Bros. in Russia and China.
