U.K. Film Focus lines up premieres

Event runs June 25-28

CANNES — This year’s London U.K. Film Focus will include premieres of Peter Howitt’s “Dangerous Parking” from Velvet Octopus, Richard Laxton’s “Grow Your Own” from Pathe, Julian Gilbey’s “Rise of the Footsoldier” from Carnaby Intl. and “Daylight Robbery” and “Flick” from AV Pictures.

There will also be footage from the Ealing Studios project “St. Trinians.” More than 40 films will screen at the event, now in its fourth year, which takes place June 25-28 at the BFI Southbank. More than 150 foreign buyers and festival directors are expected to attend.
