Tony books more presenters

Lansbury, Spacey, Usher added to list

Harry Connick, Jr., Angela Lansbury, Kevin Spacey and Usher are among the celeb presenters of the 2007 Tony Awards.

Roster for the June ceremony, which has no single host, includes thesps currently appearing on Broadway (Lansbury, Spacey, Liev Schreiber, David Hyde Pierce, Audra McDonald), recent alums of the Rialto (Usher, Eddie Izzard, Anne Heche, Carla Gugino, Neil Patrick Harris, Vanessa Williams), and visiting TV stars (Marg Helgenberger, William Petersen, Felicity Huffman).

Last year’s Tony ceremony also did not have a toplining host. Emcee duties were divied up among a string of presenters.

Spacey, the star of the revival of “A Moon for the Misbegotten” and one of the higher-profile thesps on the Rialto this season, did not receive a Tony nom for his perf, but will turn out for the ceremony anyway.

CBS broadcasts the ceremony live from Radio City Musical Hall June 10.
