First Independent Pictures and Magnolia Home Entertainment have agreed to co-acquire North American rights to “Moving McAllister” with Ben Gourley, Mila Kunis, Rutger Hauer and Jon Heder.
The road comedy, directed by Andrew Black, will be released Sept. 14. TriCoast International is repping foreign sales.
Gourley also wrote the screenplay, assembled the financing and produced with Jason Faller, Kynan Griffin, T.R. Gourley and Maclain Nelson.
The film centers on an intern at a prestigious Miami law firm who dreams of becoming a partner and agrees to help the firm’s top lawyer move his niece across the country.
