‘Shotgun’ rides with Coach 14

New Paris-based sales company will debut at Berlin

BARCELONA — New Paris-based sales agent Coach 14 has taken worldwide rights to Jeff Nichols’ blood feud drama “Shotgun Stories,” which world preems in Berlin’s Forum sidebar next month.

Produced by Upload Films in association with Muskat Film Properties, the pic turns on two sets of warring half-brothers in the South of the U.S.

It spearheads Coach’s first ever international sales slate as the company market debuts in the European Film Market at Berlin.

Coach will also be handling international rights on “Heros,” a kidnap thriller from French first-timer Bruno Merle, about a man who imprisons his idol in the apartment where he lived as a child. Pic is produced by France’s Les Films du Requin.

Coach 14 is backed by Barcelona-based production house Iris Star.
