Actor's writing debut, 'Slipstream,' will screen

The 33rd Seattle film festival will honor Anthony Hopkins with a lifetime achievement award May 30 at Seattle’s Egyptian Theater.

This presentation will be followed by an interview with Hopkins and a screening of his 1993 pic “The Remains of the Day.”

Hopkins’ latest film, “Slipstream,” which he wrote and directed, will also be screened that evening.

The fest runs May 24-June 17.
