Sandrew takes ‘Kite Runner’

Distrib takes Scandi rights

STOCKHOLM — In a deal with Paramount Vantage, Sandrew Metronome has bought Scandinavian rights to helmer Marc Forster’s adaptation of Khaled Hosseini’s best-seller “The Kite Runner.”

The novel has sold more than 350,000 copies in Scandinavia.

Pic, which opens in the U.S. on Dec. 14, will bow in Scandinavia early next year.
