Rockefeller sets outdoor film slate

Tribeca Drive-In scheduling four-day series

Tribeca Enterprises is partnering with In Style and Dodge to bring outdoor drive-in movies to Rockefeller Center, June 19 – 22.

For the first time in the four-year-old screening series, Tribeca Enterprises will program event – Tribeca Drive-In at Rockefeller Center.

Paul Soter’s “Watching the Detectives,” which debuted at this year’s Tribeca Fest, will kick off the four -day series, followed by the Gotham premieres of Adam Ravetch and Sarah Robertson’s documentary “Arctic Tale,” Brian Scott Lederman’s “MO” and Dean Ronalds’ “Netherbeast Incorporated.”

Each pic will screen on a 30′ X 50′ screen erected in front of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Dodge Cars will line the Channel Gardens off 5th Avenue where select visitors will watch films from new model cars.

Tribeca will also program a short film showcase at the Top of the Rock Observation Deck at Rockefeller Center. Series, open to visitors to Top of the Rock during the four-day event, will feature Kris Booth’s “For All the Marbles,” Ken Hegan’s “Heart of Whistler,” Sachi Schuricht’s “Piece by Piece” and Valerie Reid’s “Sand Dancer.”
